Season 6No. of Episodes30PremiereSeptember 16th, 2007FinaleApril 20th, 2008Season 6 is the sixth season of Family Guy. It premiered on September 16th, 2007 with "McStroke" and ended on April 20th, 2008 with "Lois Kills Stewie"

But the sensitivity brigade got hold of it and twisted it around to make it sound like Brian was the biggest racist in the world. Everyone joined in on their condemnation of him even going so far as to ostracize the entire Griffin family just because he lived with them.

Brian didn't find any comfort from his family after his outburst. Not only did his Tweet and the subsequent Twitter storm affect him, it affected all of the Griffins too. Chris and Meg regurgitated their The Kingsmen fight in the school cafeteria, Lois was shunned at the grocery store, and Peter was side-eyed by his friends.

After spending most of its life on Death Row (and being terminated more than once), Family Guy is now heading into its seventh season, and it continues to go (the odd misstep aside) from strength to strength.

Its not a matter of confidence, either - it always had that in spades, despite the critics, who usually dismiss it as the crass little brother to Foxs other dysfunctional cartoon family. But where the Griffin clan initially just brazened out their similarities to The Simpsons, the creators have recently begun to embrace their differences more overtly: while Groenings gang (or at least their parent studio) has been careful to maintain a PG appeal beneath the wit, Family Guy has progressively become ruder

In the USA, each episode now exists in two formats - the censored cut for prime time, and the version proper that goes out on the Cartoon Networks late-night slot, Adult Swim. Thats what is included here, in all its incorrect and occasionally sweary glory. Very little else has changed - it still moves like a rocket, the writers offering up more non-sequitur gags than any sensible plot can hold together, but fans will be appreciative of an overall lift in consistency from the lacklustre fifth season.

Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.

After arriving in 1999, the series is currently deep into its 21st season and has won a total of 37 awards from Emmys to Teen Choices. A landmark 400th episode is scheduled to arrive soon, which will follow Stewie as he becomes a crazed fan of a famous popstar.

Family Guy's season 10 attempted to delve into more sensitive issues with the controversial episode Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q, which sees Quagmire saving his sister Brenda from an abusive relationship. However, the episode attracted criticism for its depiction of violence and crass handling of a sensitive subject.

Family Guy season 14 features the series' 250th episode, which is the season premiere, and exciting guest stars including Glenn Close, Anil Kapoor, Kate McKinnon, John Mellencamp, Ed O'Neill, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Kyle Chandler.

Guest stars include Flea, Sean Penn, Frank Sinatra Jr., David Tennant, and Jacob Tremblay. There's also a cameo from the late, great Tony Sirico who voices Vinny, the dog who temporarily replaced Brian in season 12.

Family Guy's season 13 opens with a welcome Simpsons crossover called The Simpsons Guy, which features The Griffins meeting The Simpsons for the first time and staying over after the Griffin family's car is stolen just outside Springfield. Fans particularly enjoyed the pairing of Meg and Lisa and Stewie and Bart.

The season also pays homage to Breaking Bad in the episode with Lois and Peter opening a cookie shop, while other fun episodes include Stewie impregnating himself with Brian's DNA, and Meg becoming a foot model.

Family Guy debuted with seven episodes, making it the shortest season to date. It's considered as a trial run in the series by fans and critics, although it offered a new take on the nuclear, dysfunctional family on TV.

Family Guy season 11 opens with the Griffin family scaling Mount Everest, while later on Lois experiences a mid-life crisis, Meg falls in love with a boy who prefers her brother, Peter's retells the Nativity story, and Quagmire marries a sex worker when intoxicated.

While the first few episodes of Family Guy season 8 were met with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike, the tail-end of the season received acclaim for dismantling old conventions and trying something more innovative and exciting.

Family Guy's sixth season really celebrated the idiosyncrasies of the inhabitants of Quahog, and incorporated fun pop culture references, with the now-legendary first episode dedicated to the story of Star Wars.

At the end of the episode, the scene returns to the Griffin family in their living room, where Peter (voiced by MacFarlane) and Chris argue about which Seth is worse, with MacFarlane's characters advocating for himself, while the others vote for Green.

Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a dysfunctional family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog Brian. The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.

The following is a list of episode titles and summaries for the FOX sitcom, Family Guy, a Denser and Wackier companion to The Simpsons created by Seth MacFarlane. The Griffins are a New England family from Quahog, Rhode Island: bumbling, politically incorrect, pop culture-obsessed patriarch Peter Griffin; mostly sane former party girl, wife, and mother, Lois (formerly Lois Pewterschmidt, a member of one of Rhode Island's wealthiest families); slow-witted son Chris, social outcast and family punching bag, Meg; diabolical, Ambiguously Gay, inexplicably British note though "Send in Stewie, Please" reveals the accent to be fake baby son Stewie; and martini-slurping, Soapbox Sadie family dog, Brian.

Starting from Season 14, each season has exactly 20 episodes.Important Note: Do not pothole to other work pages, main pages, and people pages on this particular page, because they will show up on the index. Thank you.
